The moment LAWANT realised it was possible to make movies, was the moment it became clear this was their calling. After a frankly embarrassing number of years, it became clear that screenwriting should be their focus.

The career path LAWANT followed has been characterised by a autodidactic, three-steps-gorwards-two-steps-back approach, but has seen an idiosyncratic output, both speccing projects on their own or in collaboration with directors. As of the time of this writing, most of the features they've written has been good, two have been in assignment and one of which has actually been produced: a cyberthriller aiming for a late 2026 release.

When it comes to long term career goals, LAWANT would like to work more consistently on non-spec work and share more of their insight through education (or simply conversation: get in touch if you want a long rant on story structure, for example).
